It is reported that staff at the airport had threw out 21.7 tonnes of items that had been taken off passengers before and during going through security.

The campaign will give quick and few guidelines to follow and remember while passengers arrive for security. Our few guidelines any liquids carried in hand baggage need to be 100 ml or less and packed properly inside a small plastic see-through bag. Coats, belts, shoes and laptops should be taken out of their bag before going through the scanner.
Following this instruction will not only make passing through security quick and easier……but it will also reduce amount of waste we gather and dispose of.
