Oslo Airport Gardermoen is planning to expand, as a result of increase in air traffic to and from Oslo Gardenmoen. Current capacity of airport is 23 million people on a yearly basis and with expansion of first part; airport will be able to handle 28 million passengers per year.
The plan will include terminal expansion with new arrival and departure hall and a new pier enabling more planes to land and take off. The Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications has already given green signal to it.
