Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy Stadium will be replacing Calcutta’s Eden Gardens for the World Cup match between India and England on Feb. 27.
The reason for Eden Gardens to be ruled out as a venue for the match is delays in construction work at the stadium. BCCI has selected Bangalore to replace Calcutta venue.
The Eden Gardens is also scheduled to host three other matches – South Africa vs. Ireland on March 15, Netherlands vs. Ireland on March 18 and Zimbabwe vs. Kenya on March 20.
